I’m Anneke — an Emmy Award-Winning storyteller and strategist with nearly two decades of experience shaping narratives and helping brands find their voice. We Tell Good Stories is a strategic partnerships and storytelling studio led by Anneke Foster, focused on editorial brand integrations, creator-led media, and narrative strategy across culinary, beauty, fashion, and lifestyle platforms. About (We Tell) Good Stories

It starts with a charming neighbor - the kind who would hire the neighborhood kid, fresh from cello lessons, to play songs from her Suzuki workbook for his family dinner party. And even though your parents made you return the money, he'd always find a way to sneak it back into your hand.

Lloyd was a larger-than-life man who convinced my dad (“Pete-uh” in the thickest New England accent possible) that he could take on just about any larger-than-life house project. Neither could hit the same nail twice, but they joked in retirement they’d start a company called We Do Good Work and offer their home-improvement services around town.

They never did get to realize that dream, but (We Tell) Good Stories honors it and the spirit of taking anything on, no matter how big or how daunting.

At its core, (We Tell) Good Stories is about collaboration, creativity and the joy of building something - together. So whether you’re looking for business development, strategic partnerships or help shaping meaningful narratives, we’re here to help your story find its audience.

And don’t worry, we’re much better at telling stories than Lloyd and Peter were at building houses.

About Anneke

As you might have guessed, Anneke was the precocious 10-year-old performing her very best “Go Tell Aunt Rhody” on the cello. Since then, she’s mercifully hung up the bow and found something she’s actually good at - telling stories.

A producer at heart, Anneke began her career at ABC News - producing for industry leaders including Barbara Walters, Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric and John Quiñones. She then moved into entertainment - launching talk shows across the country including Steve Harvey, Meredith Vieira, Page Six TV and Harry Connick Jr. and leading a team on Oprah Winfrey’s Oprah’s Lifeclass. She was then recruited by NBC News, where she traveled the world producing feature stories across all hours of TODAY.

In 2021, she took over editorial leadership of NBCUniversal News Group’s Custom Productions Unit - a specialized in-house agency pioneering editorial sponsorships and new business strategies across iconic News Group brands including TODAY, Dateline, MSNBC, Nightly News, Stay Tuned and NBC News Now. As Executive Producer and Managing Director, she created unprecedented growth both in brand awareness - launching the first-ever sold-out in-person events for TODAY, Dateline, Sunday Sitdown & MSNBC, and in business development - doubling revenue and achieving double-digit growth year-over-year.

In 2026, Anneke launched (We Tell) Good Stories - and realized a longstanding dream of working across genres, brands, publishers and networks to shape powerful narratives, launch new business initiatives and find the right audience for every story.
